Within the framework of its Guest Lectures scheme, the Jean Monnet Chair “EU Budgetary Governance and Audit” of the University of Macedonia has invited and presented, on Friday, 23.11.2018, during the course “European Regulatory and Budgetary Governance and National Choices” Mrs Eleftheria Ftaklaki, Member of the Regional Council of the South Aegean Region, former Vice-Governor of the South Aegean Region, PhD Candidate at the University of Aegean, who delivered a lecture on “Financing and Budgetary Governance of the EU’s External Relations”. The lecture focused on the regulatory framework regarding the organization, operation and funding of the EU’s external actions, highlighting the relevant strengths and weaknesses identified so far in that policy field, aiming at providing the students with an in-depth view of how the EU’s external action is formulated and funded, and which are its results.
